Anxiety + Depression
Experiencing anxiety from time to time is a normal part of life, especially when faced with an important decision, a big event, or a problem at school or work. Chronic anxiety; however, can be debilitating as worry, fear, and panic increase and intensify.
Occasionally feeling sad, upset, lonely or scared is also a normal part of life. If those feelings stick around for several days or weeks, it can be concerning.
If you are experiencing any of the following, together we can work through them:
restlessness
difficulty controlling worry or fear
panic
sleep difficulties
feelings of hopelessness
loss if interest in activities/hobbies
persistent feelings of sadness/emptiness

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) features unwanted, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) that trigger intensely distressing feelings that lead to repetitive behaviors (compulsions) in an attempt to get rid of the obsessions and/or relieve distress. Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) focuses on the initial obsessions in order to alleviate compulsive behaviors. I-CBT is a cognitive approach that does not include deliberate or prolonged exposure and response prevention (ERP).
Common Obsessions in OCD

If you are experiencing obsessive thoughts and/or compulsive behaviors that are time consuming, interfering with activities you enjoy, and holding you back from living a full life, we can work through it together.
Brainspotting
What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting (BSP) is an advanced therapy for overcoming negative emotions, healing traumatic experiences and rebalancing the nervous system. It is a brain-body therapy that focuses on identifying, processing and releasing stored trauma, mental health imbalances and residual emotional stress. Brainspotting is based on the premise that ‘where you look affects how you feel’ and finds that the position of one’s eye correlates with one’s ability to recall situations and unconscious, emotional experiences. It is one of the few techniques that effectively addresses the source of psychological stress and emotional trauma by stimulating, focusing and activating the body’s innate ability to heal itself from trauma. Everything experienced in a Brainspotting session has value.
If you…
feel stuck or that you have plateaued in your healing
are tired talking about issues and continue to deal with symptoms
have tried other approaches without lasting results
feel there is more to explore and uncover but don’t know how to get there
Brainspotting can take you to the next level of healing.
