Hello!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Highland Village, TX. I have a passion for building relationships and empowering others. Through authentic conversation, I hope to lift some of the weight that clients may be carrying. Through my experience, moving from the feeling of stuck to unstuck can be incredibly therapeutic and freeing.

My clinical background includes working with anxiety, postpartum and other women’s issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), life transitions, work and school-related stress, and codependency.

What to expect:

  • a safe, accepting and non-judgmental environment

  • a therapeutic relationship built on honesty and trust

  • empathetic and attentive listening

  • empowering and positive ways to work towards healing

My Professional Journey

I obtained my Masters degree in Counselor Education from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. Soon after, I became a school counselor working with elementary and middle school students. As much as I enjoyed being in the school setting, my passion to work more in depth with adolescents, women and families led me to licensure as an LPC.

Currently, I see adolescents, women and couples in my private practice located in Flower Mound, TX. I have been trained in:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) though the Beck Institute

  • Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT)

  • Brainspotting Phase I

  • Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional

  • Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International

  • Advanced Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International

  • Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level I & II

  • Trust-Based Relational Intervention

Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of counseling, I most enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also like trying new recipes and restaurants, crafting (especially with my kiddos), traveling, yoga and meditation. Self-care has become increasingly important for me, and makes me feel whole when my work-life balance is off.
